Guerilla Bake Stand in Temescal!!!

You can now get my cakes, cupcakes, muffins, scones, and pies just OUTSIDE the Temescal farmer's market on Sundays from 9am until 1pm! 438 Avon Street at Miles in Oakland. I also feature Ritual Coffee, french-press style. Come on by, have a treat and enjoy the beautiful cobblestone garden!

Week of September 15th flavors!

Sorry for the absence. My daughter was sick.

I am back this week with APPLE MOLASSES CUPCAKES WITH CREAM CHEESE VANILLA FROSTING AND TOASTED PECANS. This flavor is all about the fall season. Its the kind of cupcake that you eat in the morning with coffee because it makes you all warm inside. I also have some PEANUT BUTTER CHOCOLATE COOKIE CUPCAKES WITH CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING up for grabs, too.

On another note, here is a photo of a wedding cake from this past weekend. This particular cake was gluten-free.

Ok, new cupcakes until Saturday...

I dropped off some applesauce cupcakes with creamy caramel vanilla frosting. I think they are yummy, but don't take my word for it. Go try one yourself.

Sorry for the late post...

The cupcakes at Ruby's GArden now are Banana cupcakes with chocolate frosting and caramel.

Delish.
And thanks for all the love regarding last week's cupcakes! That makes me very happy.
Not sure what flavor I will be dropping off tomorrow the 29th, but I will post it when I know.
My daughter just went to bed and now I must try to keep my own eyes open.

Week of August 18th Flavors!!

This weeks flavors are.......

-CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER COOKIE CUPCAKES WITH CHOCOLATE PEANUT BUTTER FROSTING.

-CHOCOLATE CUPCAKES WITH CHICOLATE FROSTING.

Oh yeah, and they are vegan, and I promise you won't know the difference. I gotta throw some love to the vegetarians once in awhile.

Last week was a hard week in the kitchen, and get this: I PUT THE WRONG NAME ON A CAKE!

Talk about humiliating. The woman was actually very forgiving, citing that it was perfect, the person she was getting the cake for and her had just gotten into a huge fight, and asked me if I could just cross out the name and write the correct name below it. I laughed out loud it was so funny and uncomfortable. Needless to say, she got some free cupcakes.

I am glad that week is done.

 

Week of August 11th Flavor!

I know it sounds boring but, vanilla cupcakes sell. And hey, they taste great too! Creamy vanilla frosting, moist vanilla cake, all melting together in your mouth... you can't go wrong.
